Adrenaline in Buenos Aires: 9 activities worth trying

This article is currently available in Spanish. A native English version is coming soon. Quick summary: an honest roundup of adrenaline activities in and around Buenos Aires, ranked by how much YOU are the protagonist. #1 is drifting — you drive a prepared BMW E36 328i, rear-wheel drive, on a closed circuit on the outskirts of Buenos Aires with a professional instructor beside you on every lap; Drift Intro $300 USD for 30 minutes, Drift Experience $500 USD for 60 minutes with an edited video, no experience or licence needed. Then: tandem skydiving (huge peak, lasts seconds, approx $200-400 USD depending on operator), tandem paragliding, karting, climbing and bouldering gyms, kitesurfing and wakeboarding on the river (seasonal), paintball for groups, and racing simulators. For every non-drift activity we give approximate ranges only — always confirm prices with each operator. Drifting runs all year and is booked via WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

What is the biggest adrenaline activity in Buenos Aires?
It depends on the kind of adrenaline: skydiving has the highest peak but lasts seconds. Drifting gives you the most sustained adrenaline as the protagonist: 30 or 60 minutes driving a BMW E36 at the limit on a closed track yourself, with a professional instructor alongside, from $300 USD.
How much does a drift experience in Buenos Aires cost?
Drift Intro: $300 USD for 30 minutes at the wheel. Drift Experience: $500 USD for 60 minutes plus an edited video of your day. They include the car (BMW E36 328i), insurance, fuel and tyres. Payment in USD, pesos at the MEP rate or USDT, booked via WhatsApp at +54 9 11 6833-3342.
Do I need prior experience for drifting or the other activities?
Not for the beginner versions. For drifting you need no experience, no car of your own, no licence: the track is private and closed, the instructor rides alongside on every lap and the class builds at your pace. Manual skills are not required either: the clutch is basically just for pulling away.
Are the prices for the other activities exact?
No: they are approximate ranges for orientation, because they change with season, operator and exchange rate. The only price we confirm as hard data is the drift price, which is ours. Confirm the rest directly with each operator before booking.
Can these activities be done all year round?
Not all of them: kitesurfing and wakeboarding are seasonal, and skydiving and paragliding get rescheduled often due to wind. Drifting does run all year: the circuit is private, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and if the weather turns, the class is easily rescheduled via WhatsApp.
