Women at the Wheel: The Different Plan You Did Not Expect

This article is currently available in Spanish, with a native English version coming soon. Quick summary: drifting is the bold solo plan that breaks every stereotype and lights up your Instagram or TikTok. You do not need to come with anyone, you do not need to know cars, and you do not need to drive a manual — the instructor teaches you in the first minutes, and during the drift the car stays in second gear while you work the wheel and throttle. It all happens on a closed Buenos Aires track with a pro instructor beside you, a helmet, and a rear-wheel-drive BMW E36 built to be pushed.

It is also a content machine: tyre smoke, the car sideways, the empty track — every moment is a reel. Pricing starts with the Drift Intro from 300 USD and the full Drift Experience at 500 USD, with the local-currency equivalent shown on the site. For the full story, read the Spanish version, or check can I drift without driving manual.

Frequently asked questions

Can I drift solo, without coming with anyone?
Yes, and it is one of the best plans to do on your own. Sessions are one student at a time and you always go with the instructor beside you, so you are never truly alone on the track. You do not have to wait for anyone else to join.
Do I need to know how to drive a manual to drift?
No. Almost everyone who arrives only drives automatic. The instructor explains the clutch once at the start, helps you pull away, and during the drift the car stays in second gear: you only work the wheel and the throttle.
Is it safe? What if I lose control?
It is very safe because everything is controlled: a closed track with no traffic, a helmet, a drift-prepared BMW E36, and a pro instructor beside you every lap who corrects you and takes over if needed. Driving at the limit here is far safer than improvising on the street.
How much does it cost and can I film content for social media?
The Drift Intro starts from 300 USD and the full Drift Experience is 500 USD, with the peso equivalent shown on the site. Payment is full and upfront (no refund). Drifting is ideal to film: tyre smoke, the car sideways and an empty track make content that flies.
Is the video of my session included or do I film it myself?
It depends on the package. The 500 USD Drift Experience includes an edited video of your session, ready to post. With the Drift Intro you film on your own phone, and the instructor helps you line up the best shots: the smoke, the car sideways, the countersteer from inside, and your reaction stepping out.
Does it feel weird to come alone for this?
Not at all, and many choose it on purpose. Because sessions are one student at a time and the instructor rides along every lap, you are never truly alone on the track. Coming solo means all the attention, the track and the camera are yours: you do not share wheel time with anyone or give up the best lap.
