Drift Class for Two in Buenos Aires: Both Drive

Drift Class for Two in Buenos Aires

This article is currently available in Spanish. A native English version is coming soon. Quick summary: the "drift class for two" format is built for two people, and both of you drive. The honest mechanic: it works in turns, not both in the car at once. One person drives a BMW E36 328i (rear-wheel drive, locked diff, manual gearbox) for 30 minutes with the instructor beside them, while the other films from a safe spot on the track; after 30 minutes you swap. So both drive, by turns, each getting a real half hour at the wheel. It is an adventure plan, not a romantic dinner. Drift for two is $500 USD for the couple ($250 each), one hour of track plus an edited video. Premium option, a full hour each, is $1000. No manual-driving experience needed (the instructor teaches you in 10 minutes) and no driver's license required — it is a closed private circuit, an ID is enough. Rain does not cancel: wet drifting is easier and more fun. Full payment to reserve.

Frequently asked questions

In a drift class for two, do both drive at the same time?
No, you drive in turns. The car carries the instructor and a single student, because there is one wheel and one student seat. One drives for 30 minutes while the other films from a safe spot on the track; then you swap. So both of you drive, each with a real half hour at the wheel, but you are not both in the car at the same time. It is a shared adventure plan, not a ride where you sit together.
How much does a drift class for two cost?
Drift for two: 500 USD for the couple — one hour of track, 30 minutes at the wheel each, with instructor in the BMW E36 and an edited video of the day. That is 250 USD per person. Premium option, a full hour each: 1000 USD for the couple — 60 minutes each. Reserved with full payment (pesos at MEP rate, cash dollars or USDT).
Is it dangerous and what if neither of you can drive manual?
The risk is low and controlled: everything happens on a closed circuit, no traffic or obstacles, with a professional instructor beside you each session and at manageable learning speeds. The one filming stays in a safe zone. And not knowing how to drive manual is no problem: the first laps are for adaptation and within about 10 minutes each of you is driving the E36 with ease. A driving license is not required either: as a private circuit, an ID document (DNI or passport) is enough.
What if it rains or we need to move the date?
Rain does not cancel the class: drifting on a wet track is easier and more fun, so the session goes ahead in any weather. With 48 hours notice you move the date at no cost, and within 10 calendar days of purchase you can withdraw with a full refund (Argentine Law 24.240, art. 34). If you buy it as a gift voucher, it is valid for 12 months from issue, so the date can be moved within that window without losing value.
