I already did a drift class, what is the next step?

You have two complementary paths: keep adding drift sessions to consolidate car control, or move up to a track day for more track time driving at your own pace. The track day is the natural continuation if you want more circuit driving. That is covered by our sister site Track Days.

How do I know when I am ready for a track day?

There is no exam: a track day is for anyone who wants more track time. But there are clear signs: when what you miss most is not the thrill of the slide but driving lap after lap, when you stopped tensing up at speed on a closed track, and when you start thinking about how to do it better rather than just how fun it is. If you do not feel that yet, consolidating your drift first is a perfect base and you lose nothing by waiting.

Do I need a license or prior experience to move up to a track day?

For your drift classes with us no license is needed because it is a closed track. What you learned drifting already puts you a step ahead for when you want to lap a circuit. The specific track day details are handled by the sister site Track Days (trackdays.com.ar), where we point you for that step.

Is a track day the same as drift?

No. In drift you provoke and hold the slide at the limit of grip, with a co-pilot instructor guiding you; in a track day you seek maximum grip, the best line and faster lap times over a full track day at your own pace. They are different stages of the same driver journey, and each boosts the other.

Does Drift School offer track days?

Drift School is dedicated to teaching you to drift, driving yourself on a closed track with a one-on-one instructor. The track day is offered by our sister site in the Racing Rental ecosystem, Track Days (trackdays.com.ar), the business dedicated to circuit lapping. We point you there when you want to take that step.

Does what I learned drifting help in a track day?

A lot. Reading the car, the quick hands of counter-steer, throttle metering and confidence on a closed track all transfer directly. You start a step above someone who never touched a circuit; what changes is the focus: conserving grip instead of breaking it.

Can I keep drifting even if I start doing track days?
