The 2026 drift calendar, with nothing made up
If you are looking for Argentine drift dates for 2026, you will hit one problem: almost all the information lives in Instagram stories that vanish in 24 hours. So this guide separates what is confirmed from what is not, and gives you the official handles so you can verify it yourself instead of trusting a date someone copied wrong. There are 2 main streams of activity: open track days (you show up, pay for the session and drive) and championships (judged competitions with scoring and a season). Between them there are more than 4 active organizers, circuits in at least 5 provinces, and a 2026 season that, going by verified dates, runs from February (Bariloche) to December (El Picódromo).
One thing up front: we are a drift school in Buenos Aires, not a championship organizer. What follows is information to help you map the scene. If your goal is to get sideways this month, and not in a year, the honest shortcut is at the end.
What is left of 2026 (verified as of October 3, 2026)
This is everything with a confirmed date from now to the end of the year, with the source that backs each item:
Saturday October 24: Track Day Argentina, Autódromo de Villicum (San Juan). Recreational track day confirmed at trackdayargentina.com.ar. Heads up: TDA does not announce drift for this date; it is good for lapping your own car or watching, not a drift event.
Saturday November 7 and Sunday November 8: Experiencia Elite Motor Show, Casino Magic (Neuquén). Drift exhibition show run by Manzur "El Jeque Drifter" and Sawicki, this time as "The Tokyo Edition", with Japanese cars. It was announced for October 3 and 4 and the organizer rescheduled it to November. Confirmed at experienciaelite.com, with tickets on sale. It is the only drift event with a confirmed date we found outside Buenos Aires for the rest of the year.
Saturday November 14: TDA Track Sessions, Autódromo Oscar Cabalén (Alta Gracia, Córdoba). Track sessions in stints, confirmed on the TDA site, with no drift announced. It is the last published date of the TDA season.
Saturday, December 5, 2026: Drift Day by Kamikaze Drift Team at El Picódromo (Av. Olimpo 80, Esteban Echeverría). It was announced as Drift Day Halloween for Saturday, October 31, and the organizer moved it to Saturday, December 5, 2026. As of October 13, 2026 it has not yet published a price or hours for the new date: tickets go through Passline and updates appear on its Instagram, @kamikazedriftteam. It is the next drift date in Buenos Aires, on the same circuit where we teach our classes.
The TDA day on Monday October 12 at the Autódromo Roberto Mouras (La Plata), which was on its calendar in September, is no longer published: we do not count it as confirmed. Experiencia Elite also lists a Buenos Aires stop for this year (and a Bariloche one for 2027), but with no day or venue: date to be confirmed. The championships have published no new dates for the rest of the year.
Drift championship in Buenos Aires: what is on until the end of the year
As of October 3, 2026 we found no confirmed drift championship date in Buenos Aires for the rest of the year. The last one with a public date ran on Saturday August 29: a Campeonato de Drift at El Picódromo (Esteban Echeverría, south of Greater Buenos Aires), organized by Exposición del Automotor. Championship series announce their dates on Instagram at short notice: if a Buenos Aires date shows up, we add it here as soon as it can be verified.
What does have a date is Drift Day by Kamikaze Drift Team: Saturday, December 5, 2026 at El Picódromo, with tickets via Passline (as of October 13, 2026, the organizer has not yet published a price or hours for that date). It is the next big drift event in Buenos Aires that we can confirm, and it runs on the same closed circuit where we teach our classes. That day TROMPO is at the track too: we give passenger rides (drift taxi) in our BMW E36 during the event. Ask for places and price on WhatsApp: message us and we will fill you in. Confirmed 2026 track days (Track Day Argentina)
Track Day Argentina (TDA), on the road since 2010 according to its Instagram, is one of the few in the ecosystem that publishes a verifiable calendar on its site (trackdayargentina.com.ar). A track day is not a championship: you bring your prepared (or rented) car, pay for the day and use the track in a controlled manner, with no scoring. As of October 3, 2026, TDA has two published dates left in the year:
Saturday October 24: Autódromo de Villicum (San Juan). Recreational track day, confirmed at trackdayargentina.com.ar/events.
Saturday November 14: Autódromo Oscar Cabalén (Alta Gracia, Córdoba). TDA Track Sessions, in stints. It is the last published date of the TDA season.
One important caveat: TDA does not announce drift for these dates. They are recreational track days: good for lapping your own car or soaking up the paddock atmosphere up close, but they are not drift events. If you show up expecting smoke and tandems, that is not the plan.
The dates published from March to August have passed: March 24 at Mouras (La Plata), April 18 the Rosario Classic, April 25 at the Cabalén, May 23 at San Nicolás, June 15 at Mouras again, June 19 to 21 the Tafí/Cafayate Driving Tour, July 25 the Rosario Track & Classic and August 8 and 9 at Termas de Río Hondo. The March to May pages are no longer on the TDA site: we saw them in their web.archive.org copies. The published days of August 29 (San Nicolás) and September 19 (Cabalén) have also passed.
On pricing: TDA publishes on each day's event page the rate for car plus driver, additional driver and companion, in pesos with VAT included, and raises it in steps as the date approaches. So rather than give you a number that may be outdated tomorrow, check the current rate at trackdayargentina.com.ar before registering. Spots usually fill up fast, so booking ahead is not optional.
Real drift series and championships in Argentina
This is the part most articles make up. Argentine drift series are real and have years of history, but, except for Experiencia Elite, which publishes its tour on its own site, they do not publish an indexable calendar: they set dates on the fly on social media. So instead of throwing you a date that might be false, here is the name, what they are, and where to check the current date confirmed by them.
Experiencia Elite Motor Show
One of the few drift organizers that publishes its tour on its own site (experienciaelite.com). It is a drift exhibition show, not a judged championship with scoring, run by Manzur "El Jeque Drifter" and Sawicki, in a touring format: it opened the year in Bariloche (February 14 and 15, at the base of Cerro Catedral), stopped in Córdoba (September 5 and 6, Infinito Open grounds), continues in Neuquén (November 7 and 8, Casino Magic, rescheduled from October 3 and 4) and lists a Buenos Aires stop within the 2026 tour and a Bariloche one for 2027, both as "Próximamente" (coming soon), with no date or venue yet.
Drift GP Argentina
Described on its own channels as the first Argentine Drift Championship. It published its ruleset in 2017, but the latest post on its official Instagram, @driftgpargentina, is from July 26, 2019, and we found no newer dates from it. If it runs again, the date will show up there first.
AGR Drift Competición
A multi-discipline team that on Facebook has presented itself, since 2008, as the first Argentine drift team. It is a team, not a championship with its own dates: its latest own post we saw, from December 2, 2025, announces a new drift car to compete in South America. Its official Instagram is @agr_driftcompeticion.
Drift Sudamérica
A drift championship with rounds in Argentina. In 2025 it ran Super Drift & Expo in Rafaela, the third round of its championship, and closed the season with the Grand Final on December 6 and 7 at the Autoclub La Paz (Entre Ríos). As of October 3, 2026 it has published no new dates: if it announces them, they will appear on its official Instagram @driftsudamerica.
Super Drift & Expo
It is not a separate series: it was the name of the round that Drift Sudamérica ran with Vikingos Racing at the Autódromo de Rafaela on May 11, 2025, with 28 teams announced (Rafaela Noticias, May 9, 2025). If it returns, the date will appear on the Drift Sudamérica Instagram.
Nuclear No Limits / Potrero Drift Race
An organizer of regional drift events that in April 2026 ran the Potrero Drift Race at the Circuito Internacional de Potrero de los Funes (San Luis), won by Chilean driver Sebastián González. Upcoming dates: on its social channels.

How we built this directory
Each row comes from an official channel (the organization's site or Instagram), its ticketing page or a dated press article, all checked on October 3, 2026. Instagram dates are the ones each post shows. When an organization does not publish requirements for new drivers, we say so instead of guessing. We only list organizations with public activity: no drivers or personal accounts. What already happened in 2026
The first half of the year left real, verifiable activity: Experiencia Elite opened the season in Bariloche (February 14 and 15, at the base of Cerro Catedral); on April 18 Nuclear No Limits ran the Potrero Drift Race at the Circuito Internacional de Potrero de los Funes, won by Chilean driver Sebastián González; and from May 23 to 25 the Track Fest WKND (DriftMode ProAm) set up a speed festival with a drift zone at the FADEEAC grounds in Escobar: a festival with drift, not a pure drift event. Track Day Argentina, for its part, had eight published dates between March 24 and August 9 (two at Mouras, two in Rosario, the Cabalén, San Nicolás, the Tafí/Cafayate Driving Tour and Termas de Río Hondo), and its August 29 and September 19 dates have also passed.
In the second half of the year, on Saturday August 29 a Campeonato de Drift ran at El Picódromo (Esteban Echeverría), organized by Exposición del Automotor, on the same circuit where we teach. And the Experiencia Elite tour stopped in Córdoba on September 5 and 6, at the Infinito Open grounds: the organizer lists that edition as finished and has posted a recap on its site.
Do I want to watch, compete or learn?
Before diving into the calendar, it helps to be clear about which role you want. These are three different paths with very different costs and barriers.
Watch (spectator). The cheapest and most accessible: a spectator ticket to a track day or a championship round. You go, see the real level up close, talk to the paddock crowd and leave with a concrete idea of how far you can go. Ideal for your first contact.
Compete (driver). This requires a prepared car, homologated safety gear and, in championships, registration and a license per each series' ruleset. It is the long road: the typical progression goes from classes to track days, then amateur, and only then professional. You do not get there overnight.
Learn (student). The fastest entry point if you have no car and no contacts. A class with the car included gets you drifting on day one, with nothing to buy. The shortcut: from spectator to wheel without waiting for the next event
The problem with an events calendar is that it is seasonal: if the next confirmed date is two months away, you wait two months. A class does not depend on anyone's calendar. At our school in Buenos Aires you drive a prepared BMW E36 328i, rear-wheel drive with a limited-slip diff (LSD), with a drift instructor riding shotgun beside you on every lap, helmet on, on a private closed track in the outskirts of Buenos Aires. The 30-minute Drift Intro starts at 300 USD (≈ $504.000 ARS), the 60-minute Drift Experience at 500 USD (≈ $840.000 ARS), and the 5-session Pro Driver Pack at 2000 USD (≈ $3.360.000 ARS). You need no car, no gear and no contacts in the scene, and no driving licence either: it is a closed track.
One fact close to home: the August 29 Campeonato de Drift ran at El Picódromo, the same closed circuit in Esteban Echeverría where we teach. Classes run Monday to Thursday only, on the open dates in the calendar, and only for people 18 and over. You book on WhatsApp with a 50% deposit and pay the rest at the track.

No dates yet: as of October 3, 2026 no Argentine series has published its 2027 calendar. The only announcement is that Experiencia Elite plans a Bariloche edition for 2027, with no venue or date. When dates appear, they will land first on each organizer’s official site and Instagram, and this page gets updated as soon as they are verifiable.
Is there a drift championship in Buenos Aires before the end of the year?

How do I become a drift driver in Argentina?
The realistic progression is: classes to learn the technique, then track days to log track hours, then amateur categories, and only then professional. Getting to competition level takes at least a year of consistent practice. The first concrete step, if you have no car, is a class with the car included. How much does it cost to start if I have no car?
A class with car, instructor and track included starts at 300 USD (≈ $504.000 ARS) for 30 minutes. It is the cheapest way to find out whether drifting is for you before investing in buying and preparing a car, which in Argentina costs several thousand dollars.
How do I verify a drift date is real before traveling?
Go to the organizer’s official account (not a repost), check the latest story or feed post instead of the pinned one, and for track days confirm on the Track Day Argentina site. A reliable event names the circuit and province, gives a date, time and how to get in, and has an organizer with a track record. If a flyer cannot answer where, when and who organizes it, it is not yet an event worth the trip.
Is there a single drift federation in Argentina?
Not in the centralized way of other categories: Argentine drift is organized more by community, teams and independent organizers (Drift Sudamérica, Kamikaze Drift Team, Santo Drift Team, Experiencia Elite) than by a single federation that publishes the whole calendar. That is why fresh dates circulate first on social media and in the paddock, and the surest way to hear about dates in time is to follow the official accounts and get into the community.
Who organizes drift events in Argentina?
As of October 3, 2026, the organizations with activity we could verify are Drift Sudamérica (a championship; its latest published round was on December 6 and 7, 2025 in La Paz, Entre Ríos), Experiencia Elite (a touring exhibition show), Kamikaze Drift Team (Drift Day at El Picódromo, which the organizer moved to December 5, as of October 13), Exposición del Automotor (the August 29 Campeonato de Drift at El Picódromo), Nuclear No Limits (Low Nation, a car festival with a drift show, October 9 to 11 in San Luis), DriftMode (Track Fest), Santo Drift Team in Mendoza and the AGR Drift Competición team.
